We are extremely excited to present our latest collaboration with the deeply rooted and historical landmark that is ʻIolani Palace. We proudly present FITTED for ʻIolani Palace, a capsule collection inspired by the storied past time of baseball and its connection to ʻIolani Palace. The collection is consisting of Hats, Graphic Tees, a Coaches Jacket and Stickers. In 1889, Honolulu had three baseball leagues—the Honolulu Baseball League (Roads & Bridges, Iwilei, Barracks, Aala, Kunawai, Pauahi, Aliʻiolani, Iwilei and Kawaiahao) , the Hawaii Baseball League (Kamehameha, Stars, Hawaiʻi, Honolulu and Kaʻiulani‘s) and the Junior League (ʻIolani, Kamehameha, Punahou and the Valley Boys). The ʻIolanis (the Palace baseball Club was organized in September 1889. Shifting voices, shifting winds, shifting dust on the shifting plains amidst shifting times. Curiosity, excitement and anticipation converging in the shifting glimmer of a diamond. A formidable diamond, measuring 90 feet to a side, its value was not measured in carats but instead in dreams and legacy. The FITTED for ʻIolani Palace Capsule consists of two new WESN [Kūkolu] snapbacks (with WESN being an acronym for the different cardinal directions—West, East, South, North—and Kūkolu meaning swing man), a Mua Low Profile 59FIFTY, two ʻIolanis tees, a reprint of our Reign Supreme tee, an ʻIolanis Coaches Jacket, and a FITTED for ʻIolani Palace sticker pack. All proceeds will be donated to the ʻIolani Palace to help with ongoing efforts to maintain the Palace and its operations. We encourage continued interaction in these historic spaces as they rely on visitors both near and abroad. See where our Kings and Queens held space. Where Aliʻi met with dignitaries and heads of state. This place is the middle of the world, here, alive and well!
