After a terribly disappointing end to my Fourth of July BBQ Capri and I decided to head way out west to participate in some hawaiian style slow cooking. It was a school day for Capri but the day was filled with lessons that can't be learned in the classroom. Like when we arrived to pick up the pig from the farm and they were running a bit late on dressing the hog. Capri was guest to the sights, sounds and smells that accompany such a place. Learning first hand where some of her favorite foods come from she only had one thing to say "I don't like the inside of animals". Once the soon to be married Uncle Simi lit the Imu there was nothing else to do but relax and knock back a few cuzzo lights and smoke out any bad vibes.
